Jeevanjee Receives 2019 James R. Holton Award

AOS Associate Research Scholar Nadir Jeevanjee will receive the 2019 James R. Holton Award at the 2019 American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting, to be held December 9-13 in San Francisco, CA. The award recognizes outstanding scientific research and accomplishments by early-career scientists. This award is named in honor of past AGU Revelle medalist, James R. Holton – an outstanding atmospheric scientist, educator, and mentor.

Nadir's research addresses fundamental problems in geophysical fluid dynamics, specifically turbulence and convection, as well as radiative transfer.
