An exploratory project to investigate the benefits of farming seaweed in the open ocean has been selected for funding from Princeton’s Dean for Research Innovation Fund for the Sustainability of Our Planet.
The project will be led by Daniel Sigman, Dusenbury Professor of Geological and Geophysical Sciences and anoceanographer and geochemist, in collaboration with AOS Faculty Member Curtis Deutsch, professor of geosciences and the High Meadows Environmental Institute, and AOS Faculty Member Laure Resplandy, assistant professor of geosciences and the High Meadows Environmental Institute.
