Congratulations to Massimo Bollasina, a postdoc in our Program, and coauthors Yi Ming and V. "Ram" Ramaswamy on winning the World Meteorological Organization's Norbert Gerbier-MUMM International Award for 2013.  Their paper, "Anthropogenic aerosols and the weakening of the South Asian Summer Monsoon" (published in the journal Science in September 2011) tied weaker South Asian summer monsoons to human activities.
